OKINAWA TRAINING TRIPS - 2006

Every two to three years FSIK and the AIKA sponsor a trip to Okinawa. We have been fortunate in the past to train with first generation students of O-Sensei Tatsuo Shimabuku as well as vist with 10th Dans in other martial arts.

We visit other islands and get the chance to explore the rock from the China Sea to its jungle. Visit Sunsu beach or ask first generation students about the real history of Isshinryu. Have you ever wondered about what happened to all of O-Sensei's Okinawan students? Would it surprise you to know there are a few that opened their own schools and one or two that teach different styles until specifically asked about Isshinryu?

You will not leave this trip disappointed. We keep our number down to five or six so that you can have quality, one on one time when training. This also allows you to experience Okinawa, The people, the food and the martial arts in a way that will enrich you for the rest of your life.
